old mixtapes

all of my new mixtapes will be on youtube now, probably with accompanying blender animations
luckily this was before mixcloud imposed their paid tier so these are hosted for free hehehehe

mixtapes that i use as a sort of diary updated monthly for the most part

inspired by the genre of musique concrète i collage and manipulate many personal recorded medias, clips of songs, audio from films, tape loops, etc. to create sonic environments that are meaningful to me

this project evolved from the selfish desire to create playlists free from the constraints of streaming platforms there is a clear progression in my proficiency in DAWs from the earlier entries to the more recent; with the more recent ones being my favorites

covers from jun21 and onwards are edited/taken by me
